Day 1-3
Cairo
Cairo, Egypt’s bustling capital, is a city where ancient history and modern energy coexist. Iconic landmarks like the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the soon-to-open Grand Egyptian Museum showcase thousands of years of heritage, while the Egyptian Museum houses priceless artifacts and royal mummies. Wander through Islamic Cairo’s mosques and traditional markets, explore Coptic Cairo’s ancient churches, and shop for crafts in Khan El Khalili bazaar. Day 4
Arrival in Luxor
Welcome to Luxor! Upon arrival at the airport or railway station, you’ll be greeted by a Sunny Land Tours representative who will assist with your luggage and escort you in a deluxe vehicle to your Nile cruise—your luxurious floating hotel for the next five days.
After lunch on board, your adventure begins on the East Bank with a guided visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple, a vast complex shaped by centuries of pharaohs and once the most important temple in Egypt’s New Kingdom. Continue to the graceful Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and dedicated to the god Amun.
Return to the cruise in the evening to relax and enjoy dinner as the tranquil Nile drifts past, then settle in for your first overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 5
Luxor-Esna-Edfu
After breakfast, set out to explore Luxor’s West Bank, beginning with the legendary Valley of the Kings, where vividly decorated tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs reveal ancient art and history. Continue to the striking Temple of Hatshepsut, carved into desert cliffs and honoring Egypt’s iconic female pharaoh. Next, admire the towering Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues steeped in myth. Explore timeless landmarks like the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, and the world-class Egyptian Museum, or wander through the historic quarters of Islamic and Coptic Cairo. Changes may also occur due to factors such as lock, rail, and road bridge opening or closing times, as well as fluctuations in the water level of the Nile. Whenever possible, these adjustments will be communicated in advance. However, if necessary, changes may be made daily during the cruise, with updates provided by the Tour Leader, Guide, or ship management.
Cancellation Policy
- From the date of booking until 61 days before arrival: 15% of the total tour price will be charged.
- Between 60 and 31 days before arrival: 25% of the total tour price will be charged.
- Between 30 and 15 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour price will be charged.
- Between 14 and 1 day before arrival: 100% of the total tour price will be charged.
- Domestic flight cancellations are subject to airline fees.
