Pause at a Bedouin village for traditional tea and fresh Egyptian dates while learning about local culture and traditions.

As the sun begins to set, enjoy sungazing through a telescope, then watch the desert glow in shades of gold and crimson as the sun dips behind the mountains. Return to a Bedouin tent for a hearty buffet dinner featuring rice, kofta, chicken, vegetables, salads, seasonal fruits, and soft drinks.

Under the star-filled sky, take part in a guided stargazing session with a telescope and discover the wonders of the night sky before a comfortable drive back to your hotel.

Day 7

Arrival in Luxor & East Bank Exploration

Travel in comfort from Hurghada to Luxor aboard a private deluxe coach, then board your elegant Nile cruise, your floating hotel for the next five days. After check-in, enjoy a lunch on deck while soaking in peaceful river views.

Begin your afternoon tour on Luxor’s East Bank with the magnificent Karnak Temple, a vast complex of towering obelisks and an awe-inspiring hypostyle hall that served as the spiritual heart of the New Kingdom. Continue to the graceful Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and expanded by Ramses II, where sunset light casts a magical glow over the ancient stones.

Return to the cruise for a relaxing evening, savoring a freshly prepared dinner onboard as the Nile drifts quietly past, and settle in for your first overnight stay on the river.

Day 8

Luxor – Esna – Edfu

Start the day with a hearty breakfast onboard before crossing to Luxor’s West Bank, home to some of Egypt’s most celebrated monuments.

Explore the legendary Valley of the Kings, final resting place of pharaohs from the 18th–20th dynasties, where vividly painted tombs reveal stories of the afterlife. Continue to the breathtaking Temple of Hatshepsut, dramatically carved into desert cliffs and honoring Egypt’s powerful female pharaoh. Pause at the towering Colossi of Memnon, the twin statues that once guarded a grand mortuary temple and inspired ancient legends of a dawn “singing” sound.

Return to the ship for lunch on deck, then set sail from Luxor toward Edfu, passing through the Esna Lock. In the evening, enjoy the convivial Manager’s Cocktail Party in the bar, followed by a freshly prepared dinner as the cruise glides south. Spend the night onboard in Edfu, surrounded by the tranquil Nile.

Day 9

Edfu • Kom Ombo • Aswan

Begin with breakfast onboard, then visit the grand Edfu Temple, where towering sandstone walls and vivid hieroglyphics celebrate Egypt’s ancient power. Return to the cruise and sail toward Kom Ombo, enjoying lunch and a leisurely afternoon tea on the sundeck. Explore the striking Temple of Kom Ombo, dramatically set on the Nile’s edge and devoted to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing south to Aswan, savor a freshly prepared dinner, and join the lively Galabeya Party in the bar before overnighting onboard.

Day 10

Aswan

After breakfast, visit the monumental Aswan High Dam, a 20th-century engineering marvel. Take a short felucca sail to the enchanting Philae Temples, dedicated to the goddess Isis and famously relocated stone by stone to save them from flooding. Continue to the massive Unfinished Obelisk, which would have been the largest ever carved. After lunch, enjoy a tranquil felucca ride around the lush Botanical Garden, then return for dinner and an entertaining Nubian Show onboard. Overnight in Aswan.
